We are currently looking for passionate people to join our core teams. Each team lead will be responsible for helping promote our mission and core values, and team leads have many opportunities to grow within the organization and further develop their interests within the climate and health space.

Partnerships Team

Our partnerships team works hard to develop partnerships with educational institutions, climate organizations, literacy projects, and more. The partnerships team has many dynamic tasks such as reaching out to potential partners, brainstorming partnerships, attending meetings, and drafting emails. As a team member of the partnerships team, you will have the opportunity to be engage with our team through our meetings, mentorship, and more. There are several opportunities to grow to leadership positions within this core team.

Development Team

Our development team works to coordinate our educational engagements.As a team member, you will engage with our educational partners and develop environmental health resources. The development team has tasks that include toolkit development, resource guide creation, content creation, and more. Many of our development team members have the opportunity to collaborate with major institutions in resource collaboration and content creation. There are several opportunities to grow to leadership positions within this core team.

Media Team

Our media team is responsible for our social media engagements. As a team member, you will engage in the creation of graphics, marketing endeavors, and more. In addition to this, our media team is responsible for increasing engagement with social media. Our social media team will be coordinating our media strategy and our public image. There are opportunities to grow to leadership positions within this core team. We ask that you apply to this team if you have an interest or previous skill set with social media development.

Internships and Fellowships

The Community Check-Up is proud to offer both internships and fellowships to interested youth. Our interns and fellows play pivotal roles in our organization. We offer internships and fellowships for our outreach, media, graphics, and resource divisions. There are several benefits to becoming an intern or fellow with The Community Check-Up such as practical work experience, opportunities for growth, and more. Depending on the quality of work performed by an intern or fellow, we are able to also write letters of recommendation.
